One Piece Doujinshi

One Piece is one of my more recent doujinshi interests. I really, really like the characters. Zoro is my favorite (I've always had a thing for legendary swordsmen) but I also like Nami (Zoro/Nami) and Luffy (Luffy/Nami). Both of those pairings are a little difficult to find since het doujinshi (that's not tentacle pr0n) is a lot more difficult to find than yaoi ... but I do have some One Piece doujinshi I like.

Warning: This will contain spoilers for certain events in the One Piece manga that haven't taken place in the current English version in Shonen Jump. If you don't want to know what happens, don't read any furthur.

Title: First
Circle: Baka Karate, Shoko Conami
Art: B+
Rating: PG-13
Pairing: Zoro/Tashigi
Number of Pages: 134

Other Info:
Published on August 9, 2002. Zoro/Tashigi isn't one of my favorite One Piece pairings but I do like this doujinshi. This is a compilation of three different doujinshi. I had parts 2 & 3 but sold them when I bought this one. In the story, Tashigi falls overboard during a storm. She's rescued by Zoro and must stay on Luffy's ship. During her stay on board, she and Zoro develop feelings for each other ... While I'm not positive, I think that the artist for this is a pro. There's a manga series that has very similar art.

Title: Second C.Q.
Circle: Hide and Seek
Art: A
Rating: R (one small section)
Pairing: Zoro/Nami
Number of Pages: 178

Other Info:
Published on December 29, 2001. Comic/Novel. Zoro/Nami is my favorite One Piece pairing and "Hide and Seek" is my favorite Zoro/Nami circle. While I prefer the non-smut stories, I like the art (at least Sakashita Asuka's art, the other artist isn't very good IMO), so I don't mind the adult content. This particular doujinshi is a compilation doujinshi with quite a few different stories. While it is for adults, only one small section has any adult content (although the novels might; since I can't read them, I'm not sure).

Title: Seventh Heaven
Circle: Hide and Seek
Art: A
Rating: NC-17
Pairing: Zoro/Nami
Number of Pages: 290

Other Info:
Published on May 5, 2002. As I said before, I enjoy this circles art quite a bit. This doujinshi is another compilation of a lot of Sakashita Asuka's Zoro/Nami doujinshi; probably most of the adult doujinshi. Trust me, don't buy this if you don't want to see sex. While in general, I'm not a big fan of adult content, there's generally story to go along with it as well as being quite well drawn. So, I like this doujinshi. (I wonder if admiting this will shock some friends of mine?)

Title: Birdy
Circle: Hide and Seek
Art: A
Rating: PG-13
Pairing: Zoro/Nami
Number of Pages: 90

Other Info:
Published on August 11, 2001. Comic/Novel. This doujinshi has several different stories, some humor, some serious. The main story is a scene from when Nami is sick and Zoro kisses her. It's told from both Nami and Zoro's points of view. There's another serious story set after Nami's return to her home village. A fairly good doujinshi for the Zoro/Nami fan (like me!) and one that isn't too risque.

Title: Window
Circle: Hide and Seek
Art: A/D (guest art)
Rating: PG-13/R (guest story)
Pairing: Zoro/Nami
Number of Pages: 66

Other Info:
Published on August 9, 2002. This is a fairly good doujinshi by Hide and Seek. The story is a Nami-centric one dealing with her feelings after her visit to her home village ... as well as her actions towards Zoro and Luffy while she was there. It's quite cute and moving. Alas, there are a few short guest comics in here that have crappy art. If they were longer, I'd be sad since I like Hide and Seek's art ... but they're short, so it's not too bad.

Title: Kashou (Burned)
Circle: Game-Can
Art: A
Rating: PG
Pairing: none
Number of Pages: 44

Other Info:
Published on December 29, 2001. Game-Can is an excellent doujinshi circle; if you like Nami, they have some of the best Nami-centric doujinshi I've seen. The art is good and the stories are also good. This doujinshi deals with Nami's feelings when she must leave Luffy & Co., steal their treasure and go join Arlong.

Title: Shining Days
Circle: Game-Can
Art: A
Rating: PG
Pairing: Luffy/Nami
Number of Pages: 32

Other Info:
Published on May 3, 2002. I like Game-Can's art but you probably already know it. There's no big, complicated story in this doujinshi. It's just a cute story of Luffy and Nami becoming better friends.

Title: Akai Kutsu (Red Shoes)
Circle: Game-Can
Art: A
Rating: PG
Pairing: none
Number of Pages: 46

Other Info:
Published on August 9, 2002. This doujinshi is set after Nami has rejoined Arlong. He gives her a pair of red high-heels as a gift. Naturally, she hates them but must wear them when she meets Luffy & Co. Again, this is a really good Nami-centric doujinshi by Game-Can. I do like their stories.

Title: Restart
Circle: Game-Can
Art: A
Rating: PG
Pairing: Luffy/Nami
Number of Pages: 28

Other Info:
Published on December 28, 2002. Game-Can has some beautiful art. While I prefer Zoro/Nami to Luffy/Nami, I love Game-Can's art and think their Luffy/Nami doujinshi is very cute. This doujinshi has two stories. The main story is about Nami after Luffy destroys the navigation room Arlong forced her to work in.

Title: Samurai Drive
Circle: RSK
Art: B+
Rating: PG
Pairing: Zoro/Tashigi
Number of Pages: 34

Other Info:
Published on May 4, 2002. This is a generally good doujinshi. It's not spectacular (I bought it for the English on the back cover) but the art is pretty good. In this story, Tashigi is knocked out when she runs into Zoro and he helps her out.

Design and (rather crappy) layout created by DrMM, January 2003. Harry Potter fanart drawn by Emi and is used with permission. Do not reuse her art without permission. Also, please respect the doujinshi artist and do not use any scan from this site for a layout, icon, etc. Harry Potter is owned by J.K. Rowling, Warner Brothers, Bloomsbury and Scholastic. Not me.
