Lord of the Rings, Page 1
I've collected a fair number of Lord of the Rings doujinshi, which became fairly popular in Japan after the movie came out. Since I'm not a big fan of the slash pairings (Aragorn does have Arwen after all ...) I tend to be very picky about art and rating.

Name of Love Circle: Smile Cat Art: B+ Rating: PG Pairing: Sam/Frodo Number of Pages: 32 Other Info: Published on May 4, 2002. Smile Cat has some very, very cute art and is one of my favorite DJ circles. They are one of the few Lord of the Rings circles that features the hobbits rather than elves or humans. This is their first Lord of the Rings doujinshi. Story: Sam comforts an unhappy Frodo. |

Endless Love Circle: Smile Cat Art: B+ Rating: PG Pairing: Sam/Frodo Number of Pages: 36 Other Info: Published on August 9, 2002. Comic featuring Sam and Frodo at Bag's End, before the ring quest began. Bilbo looks funny. :) There's also a novel section. |

Love Sick Circle: Smile Cat Art: B+ Rating: PG Pairing: Sam/Frodo Number of Pages: 32 Other Info: Published on August 9, 2002. This story is comedy. The hobbits shrink to pocket-size. Awakening Circle: Hinemos Art: A Rating: PG Pairing: Aragorn/Legolas Number of Pages: 12 Other Info: Published on May 5, 2002. Hinemos is one of my favorite Harry Potter doujinshi circles (I love their Lupin). As far as I know, this is their only Lord of the Rings doujinshi. Unfortunatly, this is a photocopied book stapled together rather than a printed book. |

Roaring Ring Circle: Cherry Beans Art: B- Rating: PG Pairing: Aragorn/Legolas, Boromir/Aragorn, Aragorn/Frodo Number of Pages: 32 Other Info: Published on May 4, 2002. Comic & short novel. Cherry Beans has drawn several Harry Potter doujinshi that I have and although their art isn't the best, I do like them. Story seems to be mainly comedy with a bit of the above pairings in it. |

Sonotame no Elrond Desu (That's Why I'm Elrond) Circle: Cherry Beans Art: B Rating: PG Pairing: Elrond/wife and maybe Elrond/Legolas and Elrond/Aragorn Number of Pages: 48 Other Info: Published on August 9, 2002. Comic/Novel. About the only Elrond-centric doujinshi I know of. This one features Elrond with his wife, Arwen as a child, a scene with child Legolas meeting Elrond and a meeting between Aragorn and Elrond later. If you like Elrond, this is probably a safe bet for you. |

Nante Suteki ni Chuukkoku (How Wonderfully Middle Earth) Circle: Cherry Beans Art: B- Rating: PG Pairing: Merry/Boromir, Merry/Pippen Number of Pages: 48 Other Info: Published on December 28, 2002. Comic/novel. Art isn't as good in this dj, although it's okay. Features a berry scene where Merry kisses Boromir to get a taste of a berry, then kisses Pippen ... There are a few other scenes but I found that one the most amusing. |

Also, please respect the doujinshi artist and do not use any scan from this site for a layout, icon, etc. Harry Potter is owned by J.K. Rowling, Warner Brothers, Bloomsbury and Scholastic. Not me.
