Office Akujo

While the cover art for this circle is usually unimpressive, I find the interior art to be fairly cute. It's not spectacular, but the stories are usually cute and amusing, so I like Office Akujo.

Title: Harry Potter to Himitsu no Hanazono (Harry Potter and the Secret (Flower) Garden) Circle: Office Akujo Art: B/B+ Rating: PG Pairing: Draco/Hermione, Snape/Hermione, Ron/Hermione Number of Pages: 82 Other Info: Published in August, 2002. This is a very cute doujinshi. The art is good, although some stories have better art than others. There are several stories in this doujinshi. In the first one, Draco and Snape steal Hermione's heart to Harry and Ron's horror. It's a very cute story. In another, Snape is turned into a giant snowball and Hermione accidentally gives Harry a strange haircut. In the last story, Hermione screws up a potion in class when she's sick and Snape is Not Happy. All the stories here are fairly cute.

Title: Harry Potter to *kanji* no Ishi (Harry Potter and the Nearby Stone) Circle: Office Akujo Art: B/B+ Rating: PG Pairing: none Number of Pages: 66 Other Info: Published in March, 2002. Comic/Novel. This doujinshi has one of the cutest stories I've ever seen. When Snape loses his temper after the Trio plays a joke on him, McGonagall and Dumbledore have had enough. They lock Harry and Snape in a tower alone together to try and force them to get along. Anyone else reminded of "The Parent Trap"? There are a few other short comedy sections but that's the main story and it's worth buying the doujinshi just for that. Although ... I wonder why this circle draws such an egg-shaped Dumbledore.

Title: Harry Potter to Azkaban no Doujin (Harry Potter and the Azkaban Clique?) Circle: Office Akujo Art: B/B+ Rating: PG Pairing: Ron/Hermione, James/Lily, Snape/Lily? Number of Pages: 32 Other Info: Published in December, 2002. This is another cute doujinshi. There are a few short comedy stories and one main story. In the main story, Snape gets so angry when Lily tells him something (I think it's when she tells Snape she likes James) that he breaks a statue Dumbledore loves. Then, Snape and James have a conversation of some sort. This is a cute doujinshi, although I like the "Nearby Stone" doujinshi by this circle more.
