Nekogumi-Duo

While Nekogumi-Duo isn't one of my favorite circles, I do admire their color art, which is quite good. They focus mostly on Sirius/Harry, a pairing that I've never been fond of. However, if you like Sirius/Harry or don't care, then this is a pretty good circle.

Title: Honey Circle: Nekogumi-Duo Art: B+ Rating: PG Pairing: Sirius/Harry Number of Pages: 28 Other Info: Published on November 23, 2002. Comic/Novel. In the comic story, Sirius' request for a goodnight kiss leads to a conversation that neither he or Harry expected. In the novel ... I have no idea. The art is good and I'm happy that the Sirius/Harry content is fairly tame. The art is good. It's not the best I've seen but it's still good. All in all, a good doujinshi if you're okay with Sirius/Harry.

Title: Kamisama no Kodomotachi (Children of God) Circle: Nekogumi-Duo Art: B+ Rating: PG Pairing: Sirius/Harry Number of Pages: 24 Other Info: Published on March 10, 2002. This doujinshi is made up of several short stories. In one, Ron reads one of the giant stack of letters Harry has gotten from Sirius and is embarassed to realize what kind of letter it is. There are a few others and one main story. In it, we see Sirius after he realizes that Peter betrayed them. It's a good doujinshi with very, very mild Sirius/Harry. The art is good and I love the color work on the cover art.

Title: Sora no Hitsuji (Sheep of the Sky) Circle: Nekogumi-Duo Art: B+ Rating: PG Pairing: James/Lily, Sirius/Harry Number of Pages: 36 Other Info: Published on August 9, 2002. The Sirius/Harry in this doujinshi is very light. If you weren't looking for it, you'd never find it. There are two main stories in this doujinshi. The first story is about Lupin and Harry. Lupin is having nightmares about James and Peter and Harry wakes him up. Then they start talking about things ... In the second story, James, Sirius and Lupin meet for a butterbeer but there is just a bit of tension in the air. Set shortly before the Voldemort attack.

Title: You Were There Circle: Nekogumi-Duo Art: B+ Rating: PG Pairing: Sirius/Harry Number of Pages: 40 Other Info: Published on June 30, 2002. Lupin and "Snuffles" come to visit Harry one Hogsmede weekend. While there, "Snuffles" takes a rather odd interest in Harry, one that disturbes Lupin, Ron and Hermione but not Harry. Sirius is so depressed when he has to say goodbye that he decides to give Harry a goodbye kiss that's a little more serious than they planned on. This is an amusing doujinshi. The art is good but the stories here are funnier than the other Nekogumi-Duo doujinshi I have. I love the reactions Lupin, Hermione and Ron have to Sirius licking Harry in dog form.
