Am I alive? Yes, yes I am. I'm currently busy on a webpage project I'm not going to mention here. I'm also posting to somewhere else now but not here. Where? Um, if you really want to know, you've probably learned about it already. Otherwise I'm not going to say.

Currently I'm contemplating removing a lot of my older entries. I'm a bit scared due to a search result I found today "nebraska+harry+potter+japan". I somehow get the feeling that it's a student I teach. I'm probably paranoid but I can't imagine anyone else using those search terms unless they know me. There's a lot of stuff on here I don't want students to read. I've suddenly realized this recently.

Of course, the fact that I'm positive my parents read this or have read it in the past is also a big factor . . .

I put in a holiday request today. I'm planning on visiting Kitsy in Kyushu at the end of March. If my request is approved (and I find one shift swap), I'll be on vacation from March 26th to April 3rd. That should give me enough time to relax and see Nagasaki and some other places in Kyushu.

So, I made it back to Japan safely. I'm very tired right now as Jet Lag seems to be hitting me -- despite the fact that I slept for about 11 hours when I got here. Ah well. I'm forcing myself to stay awake right now instead of taking a nap like I'd like to. Plus, I really need to finish unpacking and go buy some food so that I can actually eat something other than pasta (moldy bread = bad).

I did a shift swap for today so I was off work but I'm back in tommorow (early). I suspect I'll be sleepy during the afternoon. ;)

Version 4.0 of Raging Egomaniac features a beautiful image of Fujiwara Sai from the manga/anime series Hikaru no Go. I blame Kya. My interest in this series is all her fault. I hope most people can view this layout correctly. I don't have old browsers on my laptop. This layout took the longest of ANY blog layout I've done - and I'm quite pleased with it.

DrMM is a 24 year old who graduated one year ago from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with majors in English and History. She is currently living in Nagoya, Japan pretending to teach English until she decides to go home. At the moment she is obsessed with anime, manga, the Harry Potter books and collecting as many Harry Potter doujinshi as possble. Past obsessions include M.A.S.K., Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, the New Zorro that aired on the Fox Family channel (early '90's), Buffy and Highlander: The Series (Methos was delightfully yummy).
